Corsi knows that the American people have attention spans that are too short for details. He knows that all he has to do is *write* the book and make the claims. He knows that it doesn't matter whether the claims are actually true, because just the act of making the claims gets the American people to *ume* that there is something going on. People reason to themselves "well, if someone wrote a book with all these accusation, and the media talks about it all the time, then there must be something to them. And thus the media is complicit in destroying whatever "democracy" there might be in this country. People wouldn't recognize their facts from a hole in the ground.
