Is it possible that after few centuries from now, the movie Matrix will be considered a religious flick?

..a religious flick, expounding the greatest mysterious and profound philosophy and Morpheus a real prophet. Did the world religions formulate themselves under similar cirstances with fictional origins? What do you think?
