Has America won any wars, lately?

Since WW2, America has been engaged in "wars" in Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, Nicaragua, and probably a few more. However, I don't recall a single victory ever being declared. You'd think the US war machine would be unbeatable, but time and time again...peasants with sandals and AK-47s seem to triumph. What's going on?
