Why do people in Yahoo Answers Malaysia speak so differently than they do in real life?

I noticed that there rarely are "la" and "lo" or any of these slang words around here. Instead, i find rather formal english?? why is that so?? Well isnt this the Malaysian Yahoo Answers??
