Why do Republicans care about money over all else?

Democrats sat through the worst president of our lifetime, who lied us into a war, cost thousands of lives, lied to the American people, cirvented the Constitution and condoned torture. Sure we had our fringe groups like Code Pink that would create disturbances, but we did not resort to yelling and screaming at lawmakers at town hall meetings. Now that some of your precious money is threatened, Republicans are showing their true colors. Lie to me, send us into needless wars, leave the city of New Orleans to die while we watch on tv.....Just don't touch my money!!!...unless you are spending it on Iraqis....nice priorities.
